Basing on the research of E. Lalkovichova, the review article examines the brightest representatives of the “new Argentine literature” from the point of view of the processes of intercultural interactions within the framework of the world literary space. The possibilities and functions of literary agencies, publishing houses and international literary awards in promoting Argentine writers – and especially female writers – to international recognition are highlighted.
