Book review: In the spectrum of adequacy : to the 60th anniversary of I.A. Esaulov : collection of articles / ed. by Yu.N. Sytina.

PETROVA T.G.

Abstract

The festschrift for professor I.A. Esaulov on his 60th birthday contains numerous articles written by Russian and foreign academics and related to the researcherʼs range of interests in the fields of theoretical and historical poetics. The concept of the spectrum of adequacy in the interpretation of literary works implies a multiplicity of interpretations within the boundaries of many adequate readings dictated by the work itself, the type of culture and the axiology of the author. This approach to literature unites the articles included in the festschrift.
